Admission is open to students of all communities. However reservation of seat have been made for SC/ST/OBC/OEC/PH candidates as per university norms .
The 50% of the total seats are for merit and the other 50 % are for the management. The merit seats are filled according to the admission norms of the University of Calicut while its management seats are filled by the management from eligible candidates

The minimum educational qualification for admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program is a bachelor's degree in the subject concerned from any university recognized by the UGC, as per the regulations and norms of the University of Calicut, with a minimum of 50% marks. Applicants who have secured an M.Com degree with not less than 50% marks or an MBA with 55% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade will be considered for the B.Ed (Commerce) program.

B.Ed Special Educational (hearing impairment)
The minimum qualification for admission to this Course is same as for the General BEd Course. ie BA/BSc/Mcom with 50% marks or MBA with 55% marks.Relaxation in minimum mark will be given to SC/ST/OBC/OEC/PH Candidates as per university norms .There is no upper age limit for admission to BEd Course.
